Research & Development is a passion at Ayurvet. A strong R&D program has resulted in the development of several unique products and solutions for a variety of animal health problems. The rigour applied to product discovery applies to formulation development and product testing too. Every product formulated by the company undergoes stringent quality-control tests. A major emphasis is given to the right selection, scientific processing and efficacy evaluation of different herbs. Toxicological and pharmacological profiles of each herb is thoroughly documented before inclusion in product formulations. The research labs of the company are equipped with the state-of-the-art instrumentation facilities required for research. Scientists with diverse backgrounds and belonging to specialised fields constitutes the R&D team. The R&D program also works on the preservation and propagation methods of medicinal plants aimed at conserving their natural properties and maintaining the desired quality. This aspect is taken up by in-house and contract farming of medicinal herbs and their propagation by standard techniques like tissue culture.
